This is a lovely pretty cottage, such a nice place to get away to. Sandra was very responsive and helpful with our queries. Having the canal right on your doorstep was a bonus, being able to pop out and see passing swans and being able to stroll along. Great location for exploring the area. Malham Cove was beautiful. Thank you for allowing us to stay, we had a great time!

What a beautiful clean and pristine cottage. The furnishings and renovations were gorgeous. The welcome pack was very welcome. The location was spot on being right on the canal, we had some lovely evening walks. A great location for day trips to Skipton Castle and Bolton Abbey, both a must do. Bolton Abbey great for the family, picnics by the river and an obstacle course through the welly walk for the kids. The fish and chip takeaway just down the road, food was a good price and delicious. I would definitely rent here again.

"Quaint cottage that’s got it all - July 2021
A perfect location within a small village backing directly onto the Leeds / Liverpool canal, deceptively small from the outside with huge very well-appointed rooms on the inside all maintained to the highest standard. We had good weather which allowed us to take advantage of the superb walled rear garden and passing canal barges. With log burners in both downstairs rooms this would make an ideal wintertime retreat that will have that cosy feel to is. So, for that experience alone we will return. Well recommended.

"Beautiful Cottage – August 2021
A beautifully presented traditional cottage in a quiet, well-appointed location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. The kitchen/diner was very spacious and well equipped and with everything we needed (pots/pans/oven dishes, crockery, utensils etc) and a cafetiere for our favourite ground coffee we bought for the mornings! The lounge was comfortable with books, games, tv and lots of leaflets and information to peruse for places to visit. The 2 bedrooms were a good size with very comfortable beds, pillows and linens. We all had a good night’s sleep! The bathroom had a large walk-in shower with a choice of rain shower or regular. Direct access to the canal is a real bonus with a cosy courtyard style back garden and seating area to boost. We had a great stay, made the most of exploring/walking the Dales and are already planning a return next summer.

This cottage is the place where dreams are made. We stayed over the Christmas period and the hosts had made it a magical place to enter, with decorations, card, bubbles and even a gift under the tree. The extra time and care say so much about the hosts. The cottage is beautiful, modern appliances set amongst traditional cottage features. The cottage is spacious yet warm and friendly. All communication has been kind, thoughtful and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you – you have created a wonderful place to stay and call home for a while. "
